The «Leading Innovative Vascular Education ? LIVE brought together more than 400 participants from 17 different countries.
Delegate and speaker feedback about the congress was extremely positive, noting in particular the informative and stimulating nature of the event and the excellent diversity and quality of the speakers and discussions.
LIVE 2016 provided participants the opportunity to learn and keep updated from world renowned experts, to contribute to an open dialogue about all up to date technology advances, regarding diagnosis and management of vascular pathologies.

THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAMME

The programme incorporated a pre-symposium course, as well as oral, & e-poster presentations sessions, multiple scientific sessions, lectures by experts, debates with voting by the audience and special sessions for vascular nursing and vascular anaesthesia topics. The congress continued the collaboration with ESCVS and the Orient Vascular Society.
This years? symposium hosted a joint session with IMAC and a post symposium course
with the Turkish Vascular Society.

| EXCLUSIVE EVENT |

This year?s LIVE Symposium was innovative, combining for the first time the Scientific Program with a 6 km running race, along the Pamvotis Lake, a water symbol of Ιoannina, very famous all over the world for its beauty and legends.
This event called «LIVE Lake Run», was different from any of sports event. Internationally renowned doctors ran along a magical route together with athletes and residents of Ioannina, sending the message of a healthy lifestyle through sport.
The diversity of this initiative, lied in the fact that for the first time a scientific event joined with sports tourism, the most dynamic alternative form of tourism that benefit the local economy. |
